This is the silent movie that launched the career of Rudolph Valentino, and made his co-star Agnes Ayres a star in her own right. This is part of our 100 year celebration of Besant Lodge having been built as a silent movie theater. Valentino died August 23rd, 1926. Now silent movies every month at Besant Lodge! • Friday, August 21st at 8 PM: Steven Marshall lecture presentation “The Three Gates and the Three Gifts" A glorious key to Manichaean redemption found in the Hymn of the Pearl.
